Task : Introduction to Adobe After Effect

Motion Graphic Tutorial

For this task, I choose video Tutorial B, Video Copilot – Animated Polygon tutorial. Everything has been modify such as colours, shape and so on. From the tutorial task given, I choose Nanogon which has 9 side. 

From the video tutorial, first, we make a new composition and change the width and height 1024px by 1024px. The we create a new solid and put on the radio effect on the Nanogon Layer. From here, we can customize everything, such as masking, frequency, colours, wave motion, time start and end as well as stroke.  

For the cool effect such as the dotted round, we need to create an adjustment layer and time displacement. As you can see the, white to black represent time. White represent beginning and black represent end. This will help to create a dotted line by creating a new nanogon shape by removing the fill. adjust polystar from solid line to dashes. 

  

For the outcome, I create new composition with 1280px by 720px. By adding scale wipe and linear wipe will give an additional effect such as shadow. For the background, I get it from here. I import the picture and put it as the background and make it blur. For the sound, I get from here by Komit, (CC).
